SHOT PUT (22 points!) .... |

The
shot put
started off the meet for the Gators
with some big points! What was great about this? Hey, I was then able to sit
back and take pictures and enjoy the rest of the meet! :)
The shot put was a very exciting competition. My
left hamstring has been troublesome and the trainers worked heroically to get me
into throwing shape! If it wasn't for 'Brooke' working on my leg each day. I'd
never have made it! Thanks , Brooke!
:)
We had three Gator throwers over 54 feet! I was NCAA Regional runner-up (54-07.5), Kim grabbed the bronze (54-02.5) and Candice was fourth ( 54-00.5). I was surprised to be winning in the first couple of rounds ... it didn't last ... oh well, as Dad says... 'Throw Farther!' (Check my site this summer for my progress reports! )
Merilyn Brown did a super job with a PR (51-00.75) to take 7th place. All in all, 21 BIG points!
My Sister Karla likes to draw people as though they are animals... I guess she thinks I am the Poodle? She asked if she could draw the indoor shot put competition... but I don't know who is who? |
