This issue of Kmail covers the Lady Gators' opening meet of the outdoor season--the Florida State Relays. The throwers were represented by Candice (hammer) , Dore' (hammer, shot, discus), and Rachel (discus).

The girls threw the hammer on Day 1 and
proved to everybody that their domination of the NCAA indoor weight was going to
carry over into the outdoor season.
Candice showed she was definitely
coming off her redshirt indoor season ready to compete, popping a big
PR of
220-3. This mark only missed the collegiate record by about 3 inches!
2003 NCAA Weight Champ Erin
took second with a big PR of 196-8, and Dore' took fourth at
181-11.
