go a long way back. She is a very sweet person and a tough competitor!

Connie
Price-Smith is certainly a 'legend' as an American thrower. However, every
one who gets to know her can't help but love her!
Connie is now a coach at Southern Illinois University!
She is also a key person to know at all of the NCAA
Championships!
Her husband, Mr. Smith, knows something about
track,too! he he!

Laura and I have both red shirted a season our freshman years and this was
Steph's Senior (5th) year. Laura was a Freshman indoors and a sophomore
outdoors... and I was a sophomore indoors and a freshman outdoors!

a shot putting legend, Sammy Walker at his famous barbecue place near
Dallas, Texas. Sammy went to SMU after setting the high school record in the
shot. He also went to the Olympics in weight lifting!
